ARM BAR HOLD

1. Distract

2. Extend held arm out to side 

3. Hold unto attacker's arm

4. Swing attacker's arm around while walking around attacker

5. Put attacker in arm bar

6. Push attacker on ground until able to run away

ARM BAR CURTESY

1. Distract

2. Bend over

3. Place opposite foot and held arm behind other foot *like a curtesy

4. Walk under attacker's arm

5. Wrap attacker's arm around their body

6. Push attacker to the ground until able to run away 

BACK CHOKE HOLDS
back choke holds

BACK ARM CHOKE

1. Grab onto arm choking you

2. Distract

3. Drop and twist into kneeling position on one side *profile facing attacker

4. Pull attacker down with you 

5. This will cause attacker to fall 

BACK CHOKE PULL

1. Distract

2. Widen stance by putting one foot further out

3. Bend over and push attacker away with pelvis

4. Grab attacker's foot 

5. Pull attackers foot, to make them fall 

BACK CHOKE SWING

1. Distract 

2. Put arms above head

3. Clasp hands together

4. Turn to face attacker

5. While swinging down to hit attacker's face with arms/hands

6. This will break the grip

CHOKE HOLDS

FINGER PULL BACK CHOKE HOLD

1. Distract 

2. Turn back of hand to face chest 

3. Weave hand above attacker's first arm 

4. Grab a couple fingers of attacker's second arm 

5. Hold on hard 

6. Pull attacker's fingers towards attacker's chest 

FINGER SPREAD CHOKE HOLD

1. Distract 

2. Turn back of hand to face your chest 

3. Weave hand above first arm choking you 

4. Grab a couple of fingers in both weaved and other free hand 

5. Spread grabbed fingers apart 

HAIR BRUSH CHOKE HOLD

1. Distract 

2. Place your arm between both your attacker's arms 

3. Brush hand back in between attacker's arms in hair

4. Turn away from attacker to prevent him/her from holding you again 

5. Groin slap 

6. Run

PINCH CHOKE HOLD

1. Grab any of attacker's uncovered skin 

2. Twist and pull attacker's skin

GROUND HELD SITUATIONS

HANDS HELD STRADDLE

1. Bend knees 

2. Slide arms down towards attacker

3. While thrusting your hips upwards

4. This will cause attacker to fall towards your face

5. Push attacker off you towards one side 

6. Hit in groin

7. Roll away until you are out of reach 

8. Get up and run 

HIPS AND HANDS

1. Bring knees up and put hands together like prayer stance under attacker's arms 

2. Bring arms up above head and thrust hips upwards

3. Use momentum of moving to one side to push assailant off of yourself

4. Fully push attacker off of you

5. Roll to other side and run

SIDE CHOKE ON GROUND

1. Weave arm closer to attacker through attacker's arms

2. Use free arm to clap and push other hand of weaved arm 

3. Use momentum to push attacker off your body and to the ground

STOMACH STRADDLE ON GROUND

1. Move arms above to have both hands around head

2. Fold one palm to face upwards 

3. Push upward arm across face and past to meet up with other arm 

4. Follow momentum to slide onto your back

5. Continue turning to push attacker of yourself

SURF AND TURF

1. Weave arm closer to attacker through attacker's arms

2. Use free arm to clap and push other hand of weaved arm 

3. Use momentum to push attacker off your body and to the ground

4. Roll in other direction

EYE JAB

1. Jab fingers into attacker's eye hard

2. The action should weaken attacker's grip 

3. Twist wrist in opposite direction of hold to release grip 

kicks
KICKS

SCOOP KICK

1. Knee leg out in between attacker's legs 

2. Scoop foot backwards to hit attacker's groin hard 

3. Action should get attacker to release grip

BACK BEAR HUG

SITUATION: Attacker is holding you from behind while standing 

1. Distract by stomping on attackers foot 

2. Drop to one knee while turning sideways 

3. Momentum should throw attackers forwards in front of you 

4. Run 

DROP DEAD BACK BEAR

SITUATION: Attack is holding you from behind while standing

1. When attacker tries to pick you up, relax all muscles to act as dead weight 

2. Momentum should make attacker lose balance

3. Drop to one knee while turning sideways 

4. Attacker should fall forwards in front of you

USE: As distraction tactic to be able to run 

1. Slap attacker's ear hard with open faced palm 

GROIN SLAP

USE: As distraction tactic to be able to run if attacker is very close
